Tom Nelson (most often referred to as the “Dean of Saltwater Fishing) and friends celebrate 26 years of Saltwater fishing classes and bring you in 2010 a “one of a kind” learning experience.

This two-day Saltwater Seminar will bring you the “Best of the Best” of Fishing Instructors in the Northwest.

Learn new skills and refine your fishing technique with the Northwest’s top anglers at this exciting, two-day Northwest Fishing Seminar at the IBEW Conference Center, Kent, WA on Saturday & Sunday March 27 & 28, 2010.

This two-day class will teach you how to catch salmon, halibut, and bottom fish in salt water. You will also learn how to fish British Columbia/Vancouver Island, the Columbia River for Spring and Fall Chinook and fresh water techniques for salmon, Kokanee, trout and spiny rays. It will give you a chance to get up close and personal with the Northwest’s most respected fishermen. Not only will you have the opportunity to participate in classes with the instructors but you will also have ample

time to go one-on-one with the SU instructors to discuss your favorite fishing areas.

Up Close and Personal

Saturday evening, March 27th, Salmon University will sponsor a get-together at the Holiday Inn in Kent. This get-together will give all students an opportunity to personally meet and visit with the instructors and your fellow students. It has proven to be a great time to make good contacts with fellow anglers before the summer season starts. There will be a no-host bar.

Salmon University has reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn in Kent for those needing lodging. Contact the Holiday Inn in Kent at (253) 395-4300 to reserve your room and receive the Salmon University rate. You must indicate that you are a “Salmon University” attendee to receive the special rate of $69.00 (Two Doubles or King Room) plus tax. Reservations must be made by March 20th, 2010 to guarantee this group rate. The hotel has a coffee shop/dining room, and other amenities.
