Soldotna is located 150 road miles (3 hour drive) south of Anchorage in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula. Captain Mike Hopley, owner and operator of Alaskan Adventure Charters is a year round Alaska resident. Mike uses his 45 years of fishing experience, knowledge of the local area, and attention to fine detail to make your Alaskan fishing vacation a dream come true.

Welcome aboard to your choice of Mike's 1996 twenty foot Alumaweld river boat or his twenty-six foot custom built Koffler. His state of the art Alumaweld was designed and built specifically for fishing the Kenai River. The Koffler is used for saltwater Kings and Halibut. Both of these boats are designed for safety as well as comfort. Mike will provide you with the highest quality rods, reels, terminal tackle and bait available. COUNT ON THIS: Mike does everything possible to assure your success in landing a Kenai King or a Giant Pacific Halibut!!!

FISHING OPTIONS...
Customized fishing/lodging packages- Alaskan Adventure Charters offers 3-7 day complete fishing/lodging packages. Included in your fishing package is deluxe lodging in your own private fully furnished log cabin. Your choice of how many days you'd like to fish the Kenai River for King Salmon and the amount of days you wish to fish the saltwater of Cook Inlet for Halibut and King Salmon.

You have a variety of fishing adventures to select from when fishing with Alaskan Adventure Charters. Saltwater same day King Salmon / Halibut combination trips to freshwater Kenai River Trophy King Salmon and Silver Salmon are available choices. Starting in early May, the saltwater of Cook Inlet comes alive with King Salmon and Halibut. Mid-May through July these King Salmon move into the Kenai River where we target these tackle busting Trophy King Salmon.
